Partnerships

The FSA relies extensively upon partnerships to accomplish our mission, since no single agency or organization has the staff or resources to tackle the many challenges affecting shorebird and seabird conservation in Florida.  Our partners are very diverse and include concerned citizens, professional biologists and land managers, non-government organizations, businesses, and government agencies.  Any group or individual whose work contributes to the conservation of shorebirds and seabirds in Florida is welcome to join the FSA.

The FSA is comprised of 12 local and regional partnerships around the state.  These groups meet regularly to discuss issues affecting their particular areas and to coordinate monitoring and management activities.  Learn more about each partnership and contact your local coordinator to get involved.
