I just wanted to thank everyone for participating in the 2015 post-season meeting of the FL Panhandle Shorebird Working Group and making it such a wonderful success.
Our Spring 2016 meeting is scheduled for Thursday, February 4th, so please be sure to add that to your calendars.
For those who were unable to attend the last meeting, I have attached a breeding summary spreadsheet that was filled in prior to and during the meeting. I have also attached the 2015 FSD summary and Piping Plover presentations from the meeting.
If you have any edits to the breeding summary spreadsheet, or suggestions for ways to improve future meetings, please feel free to contact me.
Thank you for your continued involvement in shorebird conservation, and I look forward to seeing you in February.

A big thank you to everybody that was able to attend the spring Florida Panhandle Shorebird Working Group meeting! We had a GREAT turnout – 40 people! To read the minutes from the 2015 pre-season meeting, click here.
We took a group vote to determine the best time for future meetings. The final decision was:
- Spring meetings: first Thursday in February
- Fall meetings: first Thursday in October
That would mean that the upcoming fall 2015 meeting would be on October, 1, 2015.
I wish you all a problem-free, stress-free, breeding bird season!

Thanks to the high turnout (26 attendees) we were able to have a fun and productive meeting (as well as taking the very first Panhandle Shorebird Working Group photo!). Please find attached notes from the meeting. We look forward to seeing you all in the fall. Good luck with your surveys!
